Top Brass to Attend Key Security Review
Srinagar, Sep 26 (KNC): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is scheduled to chair a crucial Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting at Raj Bhavan Srinagar on Friday morning.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the meeting, set to begin at 11 am, will review the prevailing security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, with special focus on border management, winter preparedness, and recent escalations along the Line of Control.
They said the LG Sinha will be given a detailed briefing by senior officials on the internal security scenario and measures being taken to counter emerging challenges.
Among those expected to attend are Army’s Northern Commander Lieutenant General Prateek Sharma, DGP J&K Nalin Prabhat, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, along with heads of paramilitary forces and intelligence agencies. (KNC)
