Shivam Bakshi Reasi, Oct 6 (KNC): A 55-year-old man died due to electrocution in Hassote area of Tehsil Chassana, district Reasi, on Monday.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the deceased has been identified as Sher Mohammad, son of Meyar Din, a resident of Hassote.
They said the incident took place when Sher Mohammad was on his way to his dhoke (seasonal shelter) and accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire.
He died on the spot due to the electric shock.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNC)
