Srinagar, Sep 23 (KNC): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the BJP and PDP, accusing them of deceiving the people of Jammu and Kashmir for more than a decade.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Dy CM Choudhary as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, said the two parties had long maintained a “internal setting” that benefitted them politically but caused immense suffering for the public.
“BJP and PDP are like brothers they have internal setting. They fooled the people in the past, but now they cannot befool the public anymore. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen a decade of hardships and they know who is responsible,” he remarked.
The Deputy CM further said that for 11 years, governance in J&K was reduced to mere rhetoric while the region endured immense hardships.
“For 11 years, BJP and PDP ran a government of words, not action. Today they make tall claims, but the truth is that their alliance only deepened Kashmir’s miseries. This is not the pre-2014 Kashmir anymore,” Choudhary said.
Over these years, we lost our statehood, our special status was eroded, and the people suffered beyond measure. After all this, they still talk of building a new Kashmir. What kind of new Kashmir are they talking about?” Choudhary questioned. (KNC)
