Katra, Oct 14 (KNC): In a tragic road accident at Serli, Katra, four persons lost their lives while another sustained serious injuries on Tueaday.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the deceased have been identified as Jeet Lal, 50, son of Munshi Ram, resident of Muttal, Udhampur; Bichitra Kumar, 67, resident of Subarnapur, Odisha; Jogindra Matari, 66, resident of Subarnapur, Odisha; and Kabita Sahu, 58, daughter of Rajkumar Das, resident of Subarnapur, Odisha.
The injured has been identified as Snehalata Matari, 56, resident of Odisha. She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, official sources added.
Cognizance of the matter has been taken and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
