Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNC): A 21-year-old youth from Anantnag lost his life in a tragic road accident at Pahalgam on Wednesday night.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the deceased identified as Shakir Sopori, a resident of Batengoo, Anantnag, sustained critical injuries after his motorcycle met with an accident around in the evening. He was immediately rushed to GMC Anantnag, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings in the matter.The untimely death of the young man has cast a pall of gloom over his native area. (KNC)
