Jammu, Feb 5 (KNC): Bhartiya Janta Party MLA from Bahu constituency, Chaudhary Vikram Randhawa, on Thursday lauded the security forces for their sustained operations against terrorism, saying that those involved in anti-national activities will be dealt with firmly.

Speaking to media persons outside the Assembly complex in Jammu, as reported by news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), Randhawa said, “Our security forces are doing their job efficiently. Overground workers, underground workers and all those involved in anti-national activities will be eliminated by our forces.”

Referring to recent operations in the upper reaches of Ramnagar, he said the security agencies had achieved major success. “The trend of operations that was underway in the upper ranges of Ramnagar has yielded excellent results. Three Pakistani terrorists were neutralised,” he added.

Commenting on the Chhatroo Kishtwar encounter, the BJP MLA praised the forces and said that the Prime Minister has issued clear directions of “zero tolerance against terrorism.” He added, “Because of this policy, Jammu and Kashmir is moving towards becoming a developed region. Where are the gun-wielders now? Where are those who used to glorify Pakistan? These developments show that security agencies are performing their duties effectively.”

On Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Randhawa said the visit itself reflects the seriousness and concern of the central leadership. “Amit Shah’s visit shows how deeply committed he is to Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister’s vision for the region requires collective teamwork, and we are all part of that effort,” he said. (KNC)
