Ganderbal, J&K: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and BJP State Executive Member Mohammad Amin Shah has praised the Ganderbal District Police for their continued efforts in combating crime and curbing drug peddling across the district.
In a statement issued today, Shah commended the district police for their proactive approach in maintaining peace and stability. He particularly hailed SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal for what he described as exemplary leadership in strengthening law and order, as well as fostering strong police–public relations in the region.
Shah emphasized that the consistent efforts of the police have contributed significantly to creating a safer environment for residents. He further appreciated the community-oriented policing initiatives undertaken under the supervision of SSP Poswal, stating that such steps help build trust and cooperation between citizens and law enforcement.
The BJP leader urged the public to continue supporting the police in their mission to eradicate crime and drugs, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a peaceful and drug-free society.
The statement comes at a time when the district police have intensified their campaigns and enforcement drives aimed at tackling drug abuse and associated criminal activities in Ganderbal.
